Strong body, strong mind
No feeling will ever compare to that of feeling strong, having healthy joint function, being able to run up mountains and explore the riches of this world, without the body holding you back.
I have been a lover of movement since the day I can remember. Either competing in Irish and Scottish dancing, playing field hockey and swimming in school, then developing a relationship with strength and mobility training in the gym, and seeing how all of this has supported me in being a better human overall, and in being able to explore more of the richness of the outdoors through cycling and hiking.
Movement has shaped me into a more confident version of me, and built within a resilience, strength and determination that’s poured out into every aspect of my life in the best way possible.
When the body is strong, resilient and adaptable, the mind is to. We show up differently. On every layer of our being, we are different.
It’s not really about aesthetics, although these always come as a by-product. My goal is to make you fall in love with movement because of how it makes you feel. Tap into this feeling and the inner tug- of- war of ‘will I or won’t I move today’ fades. You win, you become the author of your life.
